RARE Inspired By Blumarine

After months I'm back and with me I carry a new RARE article for you!

This time we'll talk about: RARE Inspired By Blumarine.

RARE Inspired By Blumarine is a nice mini dress or vest. V- neck, three-quarter sleeves. It has a tight shape body but a flared shape on the arms and legs.
A lovely aquamarine is used as main color. A blue-violet and a salmon colors are used to create two long stripes around neck which prosecute to the entire body. The blue-violet stripe has some glitter. On the salmon stripe there are four golden buttons, two closed and two open.

RARE Inspired By Blumarine was released in the shop Tingeling and the actual currency is Stardollars. Not so hard to find in the general Starbazaar, you can find it also for less than 100 Stardollars.












Stardoll has released a different version of our RARE on Aishwarya Rai's closet. The page is no more available on Stardoll.com. In this case, Stardoll has used a salmon as main color and orange and purple for the stripes. What is your favourite version?

The Aishwarya's version is the most similar to the real life version of this RARE. The vest was part of the Spring/Summer 2008 collection.

RARE Jacket and RARE Inspired by Demeulemeester

In these days I'm really productive in writing articles, so today I want to post another RARE story!

In this post you'll find information about two differentr RARE, like the one posted yesterday.
The two RAREs I'll introduce you haven't got the same name label but have to be presented together because part of the same catwalk outfit.

RARE Jacket 

Basic but chic, classic and versatile, RARE Jacket is perfect for every occasion. Black&White are the only color used. White is the main color of this long sleeves jacket, black is used for collar, sleeve lapels and buttons. I'm particularly in love with the collar that is not entirely black but B&W patterns are alternate and have different thickness.

RARE Inspired by Demeulemeester

This RARE is a really eccentric top. The upper part reminds oriental clothes, in particular Mandarin collar traditional Chinese dresses, for its collar and slevees. The upperside is irregular and asymmetrical, with the right part longer than the left. The main color is white. Black is used for board and sewing and for buttons.

I reaaly like the originality used to create this top.

RARE Inspired by Balenciaga

Hello dear readers,
Today I'll show you not one but TWO RAREs in only one topic!

These two RAREs are both called RARE Inspired by Balenciaga.

The first RARE Inspired by Balenciaga is a collared blouse with short sleeves with 80s shoulder pads  and it appears very rigid if you look at the chest. The second RARE Inspired by Balenciaga is a mini-skirt. These two RAREs have the same pattern and color. The pattern is oblique checker with alternately colored squares: white, pink and fuchsia. There are also magenta buttons, two lines in the center of the skirt and one line on the top of the sleeves.

RARE Inspired by Balenciaga blouse was released in the shop Pretty n' Pink (now Pretty n' Love) and its current currency is Stardollars.

RARE Inspired by Balenciaga skirt was released from the shop Pretty n' Pink and its currency is Starcoins.

You can find the two RAREs in the Dress Up doll Harlequin (Harlequin).

Stardoll took inspiration from the Balenciaga Spring Summer 2008 collection. Stardoll has left some details like pockets and wrinkles, but also the sheen texture.

RARE Skirt

Sometimes Stardoll has no imagination, so decide to give basic names to the items they create.

It's the case of the RARE I'll show you today called simply RARE Skirt.

RARE Skirt is a long skirt with four large flouces. The flouces make the skirt looks fuller from the top to the bottom. The skirt is low waist and completely cover the doll's feet.
Its main colour is so difficult to describe. Stardoll used different shades of yellow and white for the laces on the flouces.
I've found an interesting colour table with different kind of yellow, what colours do you think can describe better the RARE Skirt? I've highlighted the colours which are more similar to the Stardoll version.





You can find RARE Skirt in the Dress Up doll Zhang Ziyi (Dress Up Zhang Ziyi 2). Stardoll decided to propose this dress in Zhang Ziyi dress up because the Chinese actress worn it at the 2007 Vanity Fair Oscar Party at Mortons on February the 25th, 2007 in West Hollywood, California.

The Stardoll label is Voile and its value is Stardollars.

The real version of this skirt is a gown dress from Valentino Spring 2007 Couture Collection in tulle and lace, with a embroidered corset. So sunny and fresh!

Rare Gucci inspired Bag

Stardoll has created also some RARE clothes and accesories for boys and men.
One of these items is called Rare Gucci inspired Bag.

This amazing bag is called Shopper Bag. Its main color is black, probabily in leather texture. It has got gold details like clasps, studs and rings, and also silver details along the seams.

Personally, I love everything about this bag. The bag is full of details which are really well made: light and dark technique is used to fill the bag, the way used to design the studs gives three-dimensionality.

Rare Gucci inspired Bag was released from the men shop Fallen Angel Boys and its currency is Starcoins, for these two reasons this bag is really hard to find even in the oldest Stardoll accounts.

I wasn't been able to find a Dress Up doll with this Rare.

A particularity: this is one of the few Rares called "Rare" and not with capital letters "RARE".







After a hard research, my hunt has completed! I've found the real inspiration of this men masterpiece.
Stardoll has took inspiration from the Gucci Fall 2008 Menswear.

Honestly I love this bag so much and even if my doll is a female, often I use this piece to create my outfits!

RARE Inspired by Wunderkind

Here we go with a new RARE article my dear readers!

Today I'll introduce you a lovely piece, one of my favourite and unfortunately not in my wardrobe:
RARE inspired by Wunderkind.

RARE inspired by Wunderkind is a middle lenght dress, surely made in a soft texture. Sleeveless, V neck with a beautiful little bow on the chest.

Lovely colors have been used, all in light shade: periwinkle, cream and peach.
Periwinkle is the main color, peach is used for the bow and two of the four stripe.

Nice work with the wrinkle, that makes the dress so realistic and light, perfect for summer days.















RARE inspired by Wunderkind was released by the beloved shop Fudge (girls), its value is Stardollars.
Not simple to find on Starbazaar, its difficult to find someone who sell it, even for 600 Stardollars.



You can find this dress in the Dress Up Doll Eve (Eve Dress Up), American rapper and actress.

RARE inspired by Wunderkind is inspired by the Spring/Summer collection 2008 from the German fashion brand Wunderkind created by Wolfgang Joop and Edwin Lemberg in 2003.

Its hard to appreciate this amazing creation, but I think Stardoll has done a great work with the pixel version of this dress.

RARE Inspired by McQueen

Hello dear readers,
It has been a while since I've published my last post here.

Today I want to introduce you a new RARE I've found yesterday for a little price, I even don't realize how much I've been lucky yet!

All of the most "fashion victims" and taste of style Stardoll's members recognize Alexander McQueen as an icon, a genious, an artist, simply one of the most appreciate fashion designer of all time.

Stardoll has always show admiration for the late designer, and has often released amazing outfits inspired by his last fashion shows. These dresses are really must have, because of their uncommon shapes, colours and style, characteristics that make them so unmistakable!

Stardoll hasn't done exeptions with RAREs. A great number of RAREs are tagged has "Inspired by Alexander McQueen".
Here I present you the "RARE Inspired by McQueen".

You can find in the suite of Phoenix (Phoenix's Suite), in the past there where a special Dress Up dedicated to this mythical bird, but it doesn't exist anymore (Stardoll's mystery!). As you can see the dress is a little bit different than the one you can own in the game and find in the Starbazaar. Phoenix one has different long sleeves (very beautiful in my opinion) because of the doll pose. Our version has long sleeves too, but different pose, slanting skirt, deep V neck and a light belt. I like the colour, shade of colour from hot orange to lighter orange, beige to grey/brown.





You can find this dress under the Voile label in Starbazaar and it's currency is Stardollars. It's not simple to find, I can say I've been lucky to find it for only 22 stardollars!

The real version of Alexander McQueen dress.

Released in the Spring/Summer 2008 collection. I love this dress so much. I like the texture, it seems so light and silky. I love also the colour, so iridescent.
